Where Mountains Tell Stories
Himachal Pradesh is a land of dramatic contrasts — where colonial hill stations give way to snow-capped Himalayan passes, where apple orchards border ancient Buddhist monasteries, and where every valley holds a new adventure. The Alpine Peaks & Valley Dreams package takes you through the best of Shimla, Manali, and the Kullu Valley over 6 immersive days. From the colonial charm of Shimla's Mall Road to the adrenaline rush of Rohtang Pass, this journey is a perfect blend of culture, nature, and mountain magic.
Arrive at Shimla Railway Station or Chandigarh Airport and transfer to Shimla (2,205 m). The journey from Chandigarh to Shimla (120 km) is itself a highlight — the famous Kalka-Shimla toy train route (UNESCO World Heritage) winds through 102 tunnels and 864 bridges. Check in to your hotel on or near Mall Road. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along the iconic Mall Road — Shimla's colonial-era promenade lined with Victorian architecture, boutique shops, and bustling cafés. Visit the neo-Gothic Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, and the Gaiety Theatre. Dinner at a restaurant on Mall Road.
March to June for pleasant weather and Rohtang Pass access. October–November for clear skies and autumn colours. December–February for snow lovers and skiing at Solang Valley.
